"A Year in Northern Ireland"...this headline is rather daring for actually it is not possible to write down everything I experienced during that year. Much of what I thought and felt in certain moments will get lost. Anyway, I want to try to give you an impression of what the time I spent in Northern Ireland meant to me. This year abroad was the best I've ever experienced. There are different aspects that made my staying there so unforgettable: first, the country itself...portstewart,the small town on the seacoast, the wonderful Irish landscape, cities like Belfast and Derry, and above all the Irish people.... Second, life at university...the way teachers and students were co-operating with each other, the fact that life at university was much more vivid than in Germany.... Last but not least, I made friends from all over the world, something I hadn't expected before I went there.
